Flat Roofing

The majority of our commercial roofs installed are EPDM (ethylenepropylenediene monomer).  Rubber roofing can be applied to almost any low slope surface.  From the costs of the material to the ease of installation, this product shows to be the most affordable.  The lifespan is dictated by the thickness of the product installed.  Please ask about the pros and cons of each thickness and what is appropriate for each application.

TPO (Thermoplastic olefin)

The large commercial building often select TPO as the material, due to the reflectivity.  The white material reflects sunlight to reduce the heat absorbed by the building.  This reduces the cycle times of the cooling systems, which extends the life of the units.  If the square footage of your building is over 10,000 SF, you may consider pricing TPO as an option.

Modified Bitumen

In the scenario where we have a flat roof joined to shingles, this is the best option.  This product comes in a variety of colors that will compliment the shingles.  Residential homeowners prefer this when the flat roof can be seen from the ground or neighboring properties.  Covered porches and patios are the most common applications for modified bitumen.  A color chart can be provided upon request.
